Remote locking honk!
Hi peeps well today my car has decided when lock via remote it honks ? its never done it before any ideas please would like it off especially if coming home late ,live in a quite road ...????

Either your boot is open or bonnet open. The horn hoots to warn you one is open. It happens to mine when ive opened the boot on a frosty morning and the latch sticks.
The switch under the bonnet can fail just google it on here for the info on the 5p mod. |

if it honks and does not lock then it is a drivers door fault, If it honks and locks it is boot, bonnet or one of the other three doors that is showing as open. More than likely due to the frosty weather

My horn doesn't sound when I lock the car and leave something open. Instead the alarm 'chirps'
