Just as well I have 2 cars
Just as well I have 2 cars! I have had to look a couple of times at my Tourer rear suspension and the cables at the hubs to see how they run so I can get them right on my saloon.
Just had to check how the wind deflectors fit on the rear lower arms and if the fixing bolts at the hub go front to back or back to front. Looking shiny under the saloon, new rear sub frame, upper and lower arms newly painted, tank strap replaced with a good painted one and the sub frame washers newly painted. macafee2 |

Similar thing with me, although the second car wasn’t mine! I bought a tow bar secondhand, it was still on the scrap car, the deal was I removed it.
My own personal Haynes manual instruction - refitting is the reverse of removal.....

I always say that if you have a Rover 75 you need a spare for when one's in the garage. That's why I have 2.

With the title I thought you were going to say one car had broken down.
I think I hold a record for that. A few years back the missus drove home from work but as she was a bit late drove straight to her craft class at the village community centre. When she came out the diesel 75 wouldn’t start so she had to walk the short distance home. A faulty fuel pump was diagnosed the following day and I was using my V6 to drop my grand daughter off at her nursery class when one of my brake lines failed. I managed to “nurse” the car home but two 75’s were now on my driveway “broken” I got the V6 repaired later that day but it was almost a week until I got the new pump fitted on the diesel. |

A few more pictures. With everything in the garage not enough room to work on the car but once the lawnmower is out there was ample room
