removeable towing bracket bumper cut out
A request for info.
Having done the electrics cut out under the bumper on moodyblue by trial and erro, as there were no dimensions given in the instructions, and no cut line embossed on the bumper, I would not like to have to repeat the exercise on Black Olive. Could anyone with the rover removeable bracket and twin electrics fitted possibly measure their cut out and give me the dimensions ( Jules, do you still have moodyblue ) thanks

The cut out is marked on the back of the bumper on Mk1 is that not true on Mk2.
I did find that I had to take a little more out than was marked and am happy to go and measure for you but I am sure I over did it. |

It's on the inner face. I'll go and have a measure now you have reminded me.
Mine is 4.25" X 16" that's a little more than is absolutely necessary, I did find that adhering to the embossed markings did not leave enough clearance to insert the plugs. Rather than mess about I just made sure with 1 second cut. |
