Default help with electrical fault

I have been having problems with the interior light and blower fan on heater ,working intermittently have now located problem to loose connection under the dash . If I remove the panel under the dash (2 screws) and put my hand up to the right I can feel a large bunch of wires seem to go to light switch if I move this loom the fault comes and goes i.e the light and fan work on and off , there appear to be two looms and am not sure which one is at fault can anyone tell me where these cables terminate and are they plugged in to something , are there any threads which may show this problem .

According to Haynes (not always reliable), both the front courtesy lights and the heater blower are earthed at the base of the RH A pillar, though it says they use separate points.
