Fan
in some of the threads i have read on cooling fans they say the fan stays on after ign is switched off i have not seen this on my 03 1.8 conn

Mine has never stayed on after ignition off either. From new. V6

The fan can stay on or can be switched on if certain ECU controlled conditions demand it after the ignition is off
Rare in the UK but still possible on a hot day You should not be expecting it to happen |

Mine's a diesel, so I've never heard the cooling fan on at all, but on previous petrol cars, if the fan's been running when the engine's switched off, it would continue to run to aid the cooling down of the car.

If the Air Con is on The Diesel Fan should never be off, with Ignition on or running.
