Problems with parking sensors
Hi, I have the OEM sensors and about 3 months ago, replaced the reversing switch as I had no lights and no sensors.
In the last week or so (actually, after washing the car), when I start the car for the first time and put it in reverse I get one long continuous beep which lasts about 5 seconds then stops. If i have re reverse again whilst the engine is running I dont get this continous beep (but the sensors still dont work). Can someone point me in the right direction? The box for the parking sensors doesnt happen to sit under the CD Changer in the boot (ZT) does it? |

Mark read the howto in the pdf on the club web site
Each one makes an audible click On my tourer the far nearside one was not clicking this was due to a broken brown wire about an inch back from the main connector. A very easy fix as I found out on Saturday |

Fixed it
See my other thread about CD Changer. I had disturbed one of the connections going into the little white box under the CD Changer. As soon as I plugged it back in, all was well. |
