Talking MOT today

well its that time of year & i hate it, it's like wiating in the dentist's reception knowing your going to have a number of teeth removed.
On the other side of the coin today also meens i've been a 75 owner for 12 months now & enjoyed every day of it,here's to the next 12 months of 75 ownership Mick

well she failed, front off side spring broke when he dropped her into the rollers for brake test,near side front brake pipe corroded,both front drop links dust covers damaged & all four indicator bulbs showing white not orange, pritty cheesed off about the front spring this is going to be the biggest job might have to get some one o do this for me as just been diagnosed with a dicky ticker. mick

Ouch ...thats unforunate ...although not too bad.front brake pipes are relatively cheap to do if avoiding the garages.Drop links again relatively easy.Indicators couple of quid each at most...Front spring easyish I thinlk as long as you have decent spring compressors.!/2 decent diyer will sort most of it ..how long before the retest ?

Sorry it failed mate. Doesn't seem to drastic, more a pain in the bum.

Euro Car Parts had an offer on the drop links last week for sure as i got some myself If theres one near you.

thanks for the heads up about euro car parts paul just anquired at the local & ordered a pair they'll be here tomorrow,found a spring on ebay that should be here monday that just leaves the bulbs & brake pipes.
I've got 10 working days to do repairs & get it retested after that you have to pay the full test fee again nigeeb. Mick
