Default apple 30 pin to lightning

Hi i have an old alpine with an addon extra box to plug ipods and iphones in for music but it has the 30 pin plug, has anyone ever used an adaptor to get their iphone to connect like this ?

I use a similar Alpine box to connect to my Intravee. There are a lot of cables that convert from the 30 pin to the Lightning connector but most don't carry audio, you need a genuine Apple adapter to make it work.

Thanks think I will just get a new battery for my old iPod that I used with it
