Winter wheels
Hi folks,
Looking for 4 cheap wheels with tyres to fit the ZT, as the missus has a bad habit of crunching kerbs at this time of year when it gets a bit slippy, so, i would prefer that she did it with something other than my 18 inchers. Happy to consider anything that will go straight on, and with decent rubber for £100 + delivery. So if you have 4 wheels lying around doing nothing ... then P.M. me. Wheels would be going to Sunny Central Scotland...Brrrrr...LOL klickster |

I probably dont need to add this but i will.
ZT and 75 wheel fittings should be the same, as below The Rover 75/ZT has 5x100 PCD , 42 to 50 offset , 56.1 bore ,( standard ) .................................................. ............... OTHER MAKES that can fit, assuming that they match pcd, offset,+ bore are: Subaru, Chrysler, Toyota Skoda, Seat, Audi and VW. mazda i think. |

If there is one time of the year where I make sure that I have tip top tyres/rims to keep the family safe, it is winter. Mind you we get lots of ice and snow every year, maybe not so in central Scotland. Would never get a set of -cheep tyres/wheels- for the winter, asking for trouble. My winter wheels are if anything in better nick than the summer ones. Just because you need all the grip you can get. Even though I have been driving in real winter conditions once a year for the last 34 years. Your choice of course:xmas-smiley-004:

There are plenty on eBay. I bought five wheels recently for £40. They were in good condition, but the tyres were very worn. Not a problem, as I just wanted the wheels. I had my garage take the tyres off and I gave the wheels a good clean. Next, I bought winter tyres, had my garage fit them and swap the wheels around.
We are yet to have any snow or ice in mid-Wales, but in the wet the grip is significantly better and the ride much quieter and more comfortable. Come March I will swap the wheels over again. The total bill was less than £300 and I am very pleased.
