Default 2017 Review

Hi guys not been on the forum much recently, hope you're all keeping well.

It's well over five years since I sold my last Rover, still don't have another car and I rather doubt I'll able to afford one for the forseeable future, though I do have the use of my wife's Fusion, well, when she's not using it..... Saying that I don't think I've driven even that since the start of last month.

I normally put together a personal video review of the events, meets and features of the Club's year, been doing it since 2012, but as I'd not been able to get to many events during 2017, due to being under the weather for a lot of the year plus lack of transport, thought it would be rather short on content. Reconsidered, I had managed to attend the Pride of Longbridge, the two Nationals and courtesy of my good friend Robert aka Frank Incensed for a second year The Classic Motor Show, maybe there's enough......

As long as I'm feeling up to it I have every intention in getting to this years Pride of Longbridge, however I rather doubt I'll make the 25th National in May as it's a 9 hour round trip from my neck of the woods.

Hopefully see some of you at PoL.

Best regards
Jim

Thanks for putting that together Jim. I thought all the vids from last year were done and dusted, so it was a very pleasant surprise to see this one .

I'm so pleased that you take the time to produce these short films, they bring back great memories from meets attended, as well as giving a real feel for the meets missed. Just the sort of "pick me up" you need on a cold February day.

A real shame you won't be able to make the National in May, but a 9 hour trip is well beyond the call of duty, so it's perfectly understandable.

Many thanks for all your hard work,

Cliff

Cool

Yet another fine video Jim. Perhaps someone will video the National and send you a copy.

Another brilliant video as always Jim.

It brought back lots of happy memories of last years meets and the Classic Car Show at the NEC.

I am not sure if I will be able to make the POL this year, I hope to see you soon, if I can make it, I look forward to seeing you at POL.
