Rover 75 SE Conn SE automatic. ****SOLD****
* Price reduction £395 the lot * Y434MGU in Wedgewood ( JBH ).
I've owned her since 2010 when she had done 113K. She is now on 188K. Mot Expires April 8th. In my ownership shes had: silicone intercooler hose ( someone on here had them made specially ) - they don't bulge like the originals. viton o rings in intercooler to hose connection. viton o rings in header tank cap 2 new fuel pumps 2 new front lower wishbones ( delphi ) 2 new Rear wishbone bushes 4 new springs ( changed front strut bearings whilst I was at it. 4 new dampers ( Delphi ) 2 x inner tie rods plus outer ball joints 2 new rear hubs 2 x top rear damper mounts. brake fluid change ( probably due another ) bottom rear engine mount - genuine part Pollen filter ( several times - done at same time as plenum check ) aux belt tensioner and roller assembly Alternator regulator brush change Corteco bottom pulley ( quite recently ) reconditioned steering pump new aux and a/c belts new a/c condensor ( from Jules ). handbrake compensator mod towbar with single socket ( used for a small trailer - not a caravan ) extra LED's in the boot engine oil changes every circe 6k - 10k. Numerous '50%' gearbox oil changes. 2 speed fan ( the reliable one ) from Jules. uprated gold resistor for fan ( from Jules ) numerous front droplinks crofts door finishers coolant 'Y spliiter' at front of engine Stat and housing ( the proper item - a pig to fit ) Newish battery - loads of guarantee left Numerous PCV filters new rear light cluster seals ( from jezzer ) Recently had new Unipart discs and pads fitted front and rear ( in prep for MOT when I was going to keep her ). 4 Quality branded tyres ( 3 michelin and 1 goodyear - 3 well legal, 1 legal but not for much longer ) nearside rear top suspension arm ( from DMGRS ) Forked spoked alloys refurbed circa 3 years ago, still pretty good tho Spare is a forked spoke ( unrefurbed ) - well legal 2 keys spare ub pump. Massive folder of receipts/history The gearbox works as it should, the engine doesn't leak, doesn't burn oil and is a great cruiser. FBH works as it should ( was decoked a couple of years back ). Dry inside ( including boot ). I'll also chuck in: a recon 120 amp alternator r/h rear upper arm ( good s/h bought in anticipation, derusted using electyrolysis and given several coats of paint ). Pair of rear bottom arms, good s/h derusted and painted. 2 OK s/h rear backplates, painted. 2 x unipart droplinks 2 x unipart front wishbone rear bushes good s/h steering rack original Neptune drivers seat ( replaced because it was an advisory that the seat frame was 'loose' ). s/l boot lock assembly ( the one on teh car 'machine guns' 5l of jf403 gearbox fluid black box ( bought from someone on here - can't remember who ) that allows you to operate the FBH by phone. 2 jacks ( ideal for levelling car when chaging auto fluid ) Set of new center wheel boss emblems ( supplied by jezzer ) pollen filter 3 x bosch oil filters front anti roll bar rubber bushes long rubber hose that goes from FBH to bulkhead. handbrake gaiter ( neptune ) gear lever gaiter ( neptune ) drivers door card ( sandstone ) sill trim clips ( the ones that always break when you remove sill trims to spray rustproofer into the sills ). small bottle of sandstone dye ( for steering wheel ) Feel free to check its MOT history. Before I bought it, I beleive it had some trauma to the o/s rear 1/4 panel, I say this because you can notice the paint on it is a very slightly different shade to the bootlid or perhaps the bootlid has faded a bit and the 1/4 panel paint is a bit fresher . The n/s rear door came from another car ( also JBH ) and at certain angles/lighting, also appears a very slightly different shade. However, when polished up, she looks very nice indeed. Recently, the ABS light came on, I think the fronts are all ok ( speedo and cruise work ), the rear has newish hubs fitted, Today ( Sun 25th Feb ) I disconnected the rear sensors ( where they plug into the circuit/loom ) under the rear seat and plugged in new sensors and the ABS light extinguised. So th ABS looks a dead easy fix. £395 the lot. Last edited by hinged_bap; 25th February 2018 at 19:10.. Reason: Spellin' |
