Advice how do i remove symphony system and replace with sat nav prima 3 solved
This problem now solved with all fitting instructions obtained, available to Forum members if required.Email required thats all/
If you have Symphony system it is mainly plug and play. Have just managed to aquire an "All in 1 dash double Din Multimedia navigation system Prima series 3". (came out of a Rover 75 for upgrade) What I would appreciate is advice with fitting it in place of my present Symphony system ,as well as setting up GPS pad.?? I have already upgraded from harmony to Symhony so have some idea of what to expect, the new system comes with a complet loom, some of which is familiar, can I get away with just plug and play, the new loom appears to have all the plugs/sockets including the triple yellow/blue and green? Also where do I mount the GPS hub,the ideal place would appear to be the top of dashboard? The hub is about 30mm square with self adhesive mount, coax cable connected with socket to accept apparent on unit. Could I drill hole under it to feed cable thought to headset?
