For some reason the front sills do not seem to suffer tinworm like the rears.

I said to you at the Nano that seemed rather expensive considering Tom only charged £350 for my work on the tourer, i doubt there are many people like Tom about whom are really skilled in this kind of work.

Had the photo to the thread below if you like cheers Arctic.

I do know of a firm close to me which undertake welding and body work i think their quote would have been in the region of £700 both side if you supplied the parts.

I had both rears done with Tom's panels and i was charged a little under £500.

Just messaged Tom Hobbs about sill repair work, should have read this first.
So where to go? I'd rather go somewhere that can do a proper job, I was thinking of Tom Force who apparently is well known with a good reputation for this work, but have recently read some nasty negative stuff about him on the forum.
Advice please. Message me privately if personal views are unsuitable for the entire membership.

I've had sill pieces that I bought from Tom Hobbs last year with a view to having rear sills and jacking points done this year (and maybe front sills later on).

Have done a fair bit of looking around for car restoration welder in Aberdeen area but thin on the ground. Spoke to someone today who would do a good job I think but August at earliest and £320/day....
