Default Tailgate stuck

Eastate tailgate
Using the remote to unlock the car everything unlocks, all doors open
The top glass tailgate opens but the main tailgate refuses to open.
Sugestions please gentleman

If you are wanting to open the tailgate in an emergency , remember there is a release cable in the warning triangle cover. Unclip the little square piece and pull to release the catch.

Once open, check for damaged wiring in the wire sheath between the door and hinges, you may have to remove the plastic cover. It may snap on removal

Pulled it all apart found nothing wrong but when putting it back together I found that the "arm" that pushes the micro switch wasn't doing so for some reason.
Seems ok now though
