Nice one Dave, some very nice examples there. I love the 1972 blue mklll cortina estate with the LED headlights, very , a guy I follow on youtube has the same car and is restoring it among other mklll cortinas. " PeteC/Cortina city."I like the 1977 silver Camaro, it's the same car I bought the missus in the late 80's. I got the boot spoiler kit with the rear boomerang fins off a wrecked Camaro in a scrapyard in Crewe that specialised in American cars called "Blues brothers" two 18 stone identical twins, what a laugh they were, great times.

Hiya Ian how you doing pal.

Oh yes they sure are.

That's Dan's Buckley's pride and joy and loves his Cortina like anything.

and well equipped as well may I add pretty fast machine, a lot of time and effort has gone into this build, he's made sure that everything has been upgraded ready too do the business.

Nice one I'll have a good gander at Cortina city.

I remember you were saying when I was down last that you had one and your mrs loved it so much.

I can see why too after looking at one up close and hearing the noise it makes.

Wow Ian you got plenty of history of US spec machines.
Just makes me wish I could have had that cheery on the cake as well.

You gents had everything so much better back then.
Have you still got the boot spoiler for it still?

There weren't many people daft enough like me to run 10/12mpg V8's when petrol was around £1.40/ltr

No I don't have the spoiler kit any more It went with the car when I sold it, I still have a boot lid with the spoiler on that but none of the spoiler side pieces, I've still got some glass (back screen, side glass) somewhere from a 77 Camaro I broke up.
