I suppose I could drive to my mate’s 10 miles away and borrow his hot tub. It will be Friday before it gets sorted now as they will book it tomorrow

Morning all,

Looks like the weather is set 'fair' today. No rain in the forecast for this part of the world, a gentle breeze and sunny intervals.........I'll take that

Blimey! It's not even 9:00am and I'm being messed about!!! The touch screen on our gas/electric smart meter went belly up so I got in touch with them & they sent out a FREE replacement smart meter and I returned the old one in the jiffy bag.

At the bottom of the online page It said there will be a charge if the smart meter is found to be working!!! I though ey up! I'll take a video of me showing the touch screen switched on but not working.

It's on my mobile phone.

Just looked at the smart meter & there is a message on it saying, We've put a charge on your account for the replacement meter

I'll set the rottweiler on them when she's had her porridgeand bananas , They're history if they insist on this charge.

Also just had a scam telephone call saying there's a problem with my Virgin Media broadband & they need account/payment details or the broadband will be switched off in three days!!! after lots of expletives from me they put the phone down

I usually keep them on the line for a while while I look for my bank card then reel off a load of false numbers, I like to waste their time too.

Morning, phoned the surgery again, there's an alternative to the unobtainable eye drops at the chemist, need to collect whatever it is. Still on the max dose of paracetamol and the swelling is creeping down the left side of my face, even my top lip doesn't feel "right"! Hopefully the eye drops or whatever helps, the antibiotic doesn't seem to be doing much yet.

If the swelling is getting worse Steve, contact your surgery again and tell them. You may need to go to a local walk in centte if you have one.
