Default Diesel not starting

I had a new cooling fan fitted at home when the mechanic had finished I reversed the car out of the car port every thing seemed fine.
The next morning the car refused to start.
Could there be any connection between the fitting of the fan and the car not starting.
The engine turned over fast so battery is ok.

First question is how much fuel do you have in the tank?

HI Terry.
Do you remember this in May 2018 if it is the same pump it could well now be worse or even packed up do the checks again, maybe this time remove the fuel line from the low pressor pump on top of the fuel filter insert it into a bottle and get someone to turn the ignition to II for about 10-15 seconds, check that you have an continual good flow of fuel with no stuttering or spluttering, if no then maybe time to sort out the UBP.

Hi Terry.
Excellent, keep your eye on the in tank pump, and remember the golden rule with UBP & In tank pump combined try not to let the fuel go below a 1/4 tank, all the best Arctic

If you let the tank run down to the low level light before filling up Steve you don't need to check the ITP, it automatically lets you know when it packs up.
