First off I removed the offside wing, painted the inner wing then fitted a replacement wing.
I fitted the 100w resistor and tested it, all working lovely now,
then I fitted the crash beam and front panel, allowed the bonnet to find its natural closing position then tightened it all up.
Fitted and polished the headlights with G3 and they've come up a treat, then refitted the bumper, fit's a treat now.

Getting even closer now.

Stiffer than the 75 ones, I thin they are the same as ZT spec, those are 1.8 ones fitted to the rear of my diesel.

Sorted out a sticking rear calliper on the marmite duotone.
Fitted greenstuff brake pads while I was at it. Well, I assisted...🙄

Replaced the cooling fan and intercooler rings: many thanks to Jules (Julian): absolute pleasure to deal with! Took apart and cleaned the EGR valve - it was full of oily, sooty, sticky gunk - wear gloves. Changed the crankcase breather filter using the part sold for Land Rovers. Polished and sealed the headlights: used Turtle 2-in 1 Headlight Cleaner & Sealant so that they are transparent again. Refitted a little wire catch on one of the dipped beams. All in all, it took me nearly three nearly full days.

Many thanks to everyone on this forum for the advice and entertainment.

Drove it about a bit, and considered looking for a newer car.......then remembered I have a newer one in a rather pretty shade of red, and the antithesis of starlight primertallic.

I can't wait to get Frosty back home, I've really missed having him around

Noticed my rear roof light had fallen out again (this is a replacement one) so I stiffened up the cracked and broken legs with some 2-part epoxy.
