I washed the NUK later this afternoon after fitting a ABS bearing to a members car, also after fitting two track rod ends TRW to his sons car. then also washed the FL2 along with the normal weekly checks, so overall a good productive day

Our Hound was always getting in the way of work and forcing the tea break!

Took the KV6 Connie tourer for MOT today (unused since February after failure of the rubber bush at the rear of the front suspension casting). Failed on outer sill rot one side, a wiper blade and headlight aim.
A patch at the local welders and a polish of the plastic headlight glass will fix it.

Salt spray from passing cars when parked up in winter?

Put Mo's old carpet into Kim. I'll sort out the trim and seats etc. when I get the chance.

The other theory, that makes sense, is that the nearside gets more salt washed off, due to the camber and more standing water on that side.

Or just do all four corners, because all of the sill bits are gash

On two of the others, it is the NSR sill areas which are knacked, I'm still trying to persuade Mrs MB to test drive something newer and better, as I cannot face, another clutch/ full set of brake pipes/ rear subframe/ upper and lower rear arms/rear springs on top of a sill repair.

There comes a time in a cars life, when it is time to get rid, her's is at that point.

I wouldn't have thought twice about doing these jobs even last year, but my heart isn't in it any more
