Accessing behind driver side trim in boot
Hi all,
In my 2002 saloon, I want to look behind the boot trim on the driver side. I can easily pull back the passenger side and see the sunroof drain and vent area. On the driver side, there is a large CD/DVD drive (for the GPS maps) in the way. It seems to prevent me moving the trim forward. How do I get in? I have tried poking stiff wire into the pin holes at each side of the unit, but nothing happens. Not sure what sort of tool I need. Or is there a sneaky trick?! Cheers, Richard. |

Thanks again to trikey. Tool arrived in post and it was simple. I was able to extract and unplug the GPS/CD thingy and get the thin carpet stuff out of the way. I re-plumbed the sunroof drain (using an old silicone nozzle, with a dab of silicone around the joins too). Job done!
