Default Good things on TV

Some may say there is nothing good on TV but I disagree.
I like Why Planes Crash, Impossible Engineering and Abandoned Engineering and a new one I came across this evening. War Factories, on the Yesterday channel.
This evening was about the German production of military hardware before and during WWII and about the Allies production. I found it quite interesting. Different episode is on next Tuesday at 8pm.

Currently we also have "Live Planespotting" which for some is very interesting.

Good things on TV? How about from 1949 The Third Man? British through and through, cinematography and drama beyond compare and that haunting Zither from Anton Karas. Just watched it (again) on BBC2. My favourite film. I wonder how many were persuaded to buy and learn to play an instrument. Well, me for one! That film alone is worth the licence fee. Well, almost.

I saw part of an episode following your post, thank you. They had a guy from Rolls Royce which for me added credibility to the program and what he had to say was very interesting about battery operated flight.
Was it john snow I saw as a presenter?
Did not think much of one or two of the others but well worth watching

Peter Snow was one of the presenters who at times I thought was out of his depth.
Assisted by Andi Peters who declared himself to be an aviation "anorak", but at least twice mis-identified aircraft.
Due to the subject, it was a bit amateurish, but I would think that anybody tuning in to the title would find it interesting.
It was good to get a variety of presenters though they could not cover everything; Rolls Royce are based in Derby and they keep their Spitfire at East Midlands Airport.

But why the continual/irrelevant "Musak" in the backgound? its arrogance, and spoils some peoples enjoyment, they know there are hundreds of thousands maybe millions who have defective/failing hearing but no thought or consideration for them.Ah I have just twigged it- the presenters facts are usually a bit? inaccurate? well more than a bit. Turn the music up and "they" wont spot it? Chris.S.
