Default The rate at spending money

I have never been one for keeping a spread sheet on spend but since I retired I have kept a record on what I have spent on my cars, motorbike and tools.
It has been a real eye opener I would never have thought I spent so much.

This month alone :-

Bandit air filter and choke cable 36.94 2 fire extinguisher brackets 40.31 ultra violet light torch 12.99 makita 9032 belt sander and belts 174.96 Trailer cover 79.60 Draper 5-22 torque wrench 65.00 tank of fuel for getting to and from work 90.00 phone top up and contract 30.00 screw for bandit air filter housing from Cresent Suzuki 4.14 battery for saloon 86.99 Unlock PCB board for fuel burning heater 9.85

worse is that for the year the total is £1,912.63 but £11 of this figure is not related to car, bike or tools. I still have a list of items that I will or probably will buy. I'm delighted to have my little part time job to cover the cost

Last year it was £4,188.20 but that included buying and repairing the Tourer.

I was hoping the spend would have dramatically fallen away.

it does indeed and as long as you can earn enough to match the spend its no so bad but when its on tick or out of savings not being replenished, it hurts.

If you want to know the rate of spending money, my wife is a class act.

But you love her and grumbling about her spending. How else is she to keep you in the style you are accustomed to!!! No pain no gain.
2 x 75's Rev. That's a bit profligate, as you can only drive one at a time.
