Default Another compliment...

I had a lovely compliment from a young lad last Friday about the ZT. He was only about 12 and smitten with it. Then today the chap who came to sort a puncture was equally complimentary. He said he didn't see many on the road these days, and it was lovely to see mine, and that he thinks they will start to be a valued motor soon, rather than the bad rep they got in the early days due to the HG issue on some. Keep it he said, they were the last British motor we made...

No worries there, Blue isn't going anywhere except to get rustproofed!

Cool

That’s good that people still appreciate our cars. Banana gets lots of attention, and compliments. The Bear gets her fair share of compliments, but not for her colour but for the fact that not many people don’t know these V8’s exist.

I went to get my morning paper the other morning, and as I turned into a car park at the rear of the newsagents, I noticed a gentleman of senior years standing on the kerb.
As I emerged from the shop, I returned to my 75 to find him standing beside it peering into the interior.
He said he was an admirer of Rovers for many, many years, and how lovely the 75 is.
He was very complimentary, even asking if he could have a sit inside, which of course he did.
Thanking me, he walked off , saying, " Rovers....lovely cars".

Which of course, they are !!

I often get back from shopping etc., to see folks peering in through the windows at the walnut. The missus usually looks skywards and heads back into the shops whilst we chat about the "baby"!
