Bored!!! Stuck at a golf course in rural Northumberland with a load of drinkers. Too wet for them to play,so they're on the lash instead. Here til 20.30 then an hour drive back to their own club

Question

Look how dirty Alison got the other day! She hadn't been cleaned for about two weeks. In that time, she had been to Leyland, crossed a Ford and also got very muddy in a back lane- where some mindless (Cont P94) had dumped a load of detritus...

And Alison has a question for you all... on said journey to Leyland- where I went out for a ride on a Lynx- she observed many references to Pies on overhead gantries and bridges.

These were observed on the M6 and M25.

What significance to these slogans have?
