Early shopping day for us. Set off to the supermarket and "Bong, bong, bong!" The frost alert was going! Noooooooooooo!

My son's wisdom tooth extraction was cancelled by the dentist and he has to have it done in hospital due to "Complications"! (Probably due to positioning and his Parkinsons meds)

Very misty and murky start but the sun is trying to burn it off.

Finally caught the little escape artist & get him to the vets I shut him in the kitchen ready to put him in the basket, Couldn't find him anywhere in there The little begger had squeezed behind the fridge freezer in the smallest of gaps.

I ended up having to manhandle the fridge freezer out to get him

Managed to get Mam & Me booked in for our covid booster jabs at the local clinic next Thursday.

Poppy's favourite hidey holes are either behind the sofa or under the recliner and no amount of persuasion, threats or tasty bits will get her out til she reckons its safe.

Bleedin' awful day here, heavy rain and strong wind. Wind is supposed to ease mid afternoon but not the rain, that's here for the day.

This is day three of early rises with another two to go, Ging was dayshift, then down to Sheffield, dayshift again today, Saturday and Sunday. I'm getting seriously tired, I wake up tired at the best of times and go downhill from there I go back to bed after she leaves but can't sleep, doze is the best I can hope for.

It's lashing down here & set in for the rest of the day looking at the forecast, Missus is just back from her booster jab looking like a drowned rat.

Afternoon all.

Just started raining here. Due to last the rest of the day. Got Quizzie out in the dry earlier, but she was soaked from rolling in the grass with boyfriend Bertie . She, of course, is absolutely as happy as a happy dog can be .

Sorry to hear about the various tummy upsets and other health issues. Hope all settles down and gets sorted very soon.

Take care everyone.

Just had the phone call from the Vets that I didn't want.

Sydney has gone rapidly down hill since this morning and the Vet has said it would be for the best to let him go.
We are going over there at 17.00 to be with him and say our goodbyes.

I'm absolutely gutted although I know we tried our best for him.

I'm going to miss him so much...

So sorry to hear that Jeff. I'm "lucky" in that both Milka and Abbey passed away at home (basically of old age) without the involvement of a vet.
