Is there a 'How To' on fitting the SSC anywhere?

Quick message for Andrew & Donald.
Both SSC have been posted out to you so you should have them in the next day or two depending on how good RM are performing this week, cheers Arctic.

While changing the handbrake cables on my ZT, I noticed a very stretched compensator. After a few e-mails to Steve I had a nice new SSC land on my doorstep. I already had the centre console out to fit the cables so fitting the compensator was a doddle.
Highly recommended for anyone suffering from poor handbrake performance due to a stretched compensator. |

arctic is the go-to guy for stretched compensators
Got the shiny new stainless steel compensator from Arctic in record time, along with clear instructions on fitting it. As a result my 75 sailed through the MOT for another year. Definitely recommend the service!

Getting there
Bought and fitted one of Artic's compensators and hand brake much improved; still not 2 clicks to lock the back wheels yet but there are other probs. Also many thanks for posting the "in car" method of replacing and for additional pm help. Reminder to those who avail themselves of Artic's compensators; he does need you old one back to modify!!

Hi Guys, Cannot see the pictures on that thread, all I see is a box showing the message from tinypic that this image is no longer available. Can anyone point to a thread that shows the pictures, or reupload the pictures please. My 75 just failed the mot on the handbrake and it bound to be this issue as afr as i can see. Thanks Bloomster2 |
