Cool

I lifted the parcel shelf about 3/4 quarters olong on the drivers side, gave it a whack with an adjustable spanner then tried it an worked Ok

Tried it two times and great still working

left it for 5 mins as I conditioned my leather seats - tried again nothing - so another whack and it worked left the blind up for a little while and then put it down

Wonder if it will work tommorow -

There is a large access grommet under parcel shelf, sometimes if you TAP the motor linkage, while someone operates the sunblind button, its enough to jolt it back into action:lol:

Where exactly is the motor for the Sun Blind.

If that fails you need to try and get to the plug on the motor from inside the boot. It's a very short loom and not much room to play with. Get a multi meter on it to make sure you're getting 12v

I seem to remember its orange / red wiring with a mini 2 way connector.

I found that re-greasing the worm drive in the gear mechanism helped greatly. You do have to remove the parcel shelf to get at it and watch the fingers as there is a HUGE amount of torque in the motor.

How is the easiest way to get access to it. Can it be removed and repaired. Is there a diagram of it so I can do this myself?

Regards,

John Hart
