Default 20 Years Ago Today

My '75 rolled off the production line. Never owned a 20 year old car before .

That engine bay! 🤯 Have you polished all the aluminium parts? They look incredibly shiny. Beautiful example of a wonderful motor car. Congratulations on 20 years!

Default Your car

Is an absolute credit to you, always love seeing it. Thanks to you Cliff for inspiring me to get the walnut console and the serpents which I first saw and admired on yours. Also lagoon is the most beautiful colour. 20 is nothing, my mg is 45 and still going strong and my sisters car is 1934 and still on the road at 92!
Cheers.

Good morning Cliff,

Well done to you and to the club guru mechanics in keeping the car going. If MGR had thought their cars wouldn’t last 20 years, you and other esteemed members here have proven them wrong.

Your 75 has given you both and us much pleasure over the years.

Have you thought about starting a thread illustrating the work you have had to put in to keep the car maintained and how you got it to where it is today? You could make a video/movie showing off the best of its features.

I know the car has won awards, so do be proud of its achievements and look forward to the years ahead of happy and safe motoring.

Best wishes

Phil and Jessica

Some obsessions are good, even if some are envious of the result
