Guess that would be a good idea if the originals have given up or lost.

I replace them anyway, even light corrosion makes the job harder, I replaced all of the fixings for the tray, lights and front bumper with stainless cap heads and they all come off no trouble with an allen key, fast and easy... plus shiny bling...

I'm having the same problem as the OP. The undertray holes do not all align on the front bumper. One is about an inch out?? What could I be doing wrong? There is only one front bumper for all cars so this has to fit at the front surely?

Drilled and used self tapping screws. This would never have fitted so if you do buy a cheap pattern part it is possible that you will have misaligned screws hole for the front bumper

Many thanks for all the comments. It looks like I may bought a "repro" copy (Polish?) rather than an original, but would have thought the template would have been the same evenso.....
Also, can anyone throw any light on the 4 small, flimsy protective covers that I do have fitted each side - 2 per side. In another thread I have seen the term "Half Undertray" - is that what these are? ED

i think the half undertray may refer to what a 1.8Turbo has fitted. Other than that, all engine undertrays are supposed to be equal. Those bits you are talking about are just the undertrim that fits in the corners of the front and the undertray itself fits in between them providing a full 'seal' to the underneath of the body.
