the wire must have the yellow band on it.red/white is for the switch lighting

Suffolk could i have a different color K B us wire i have loads of free ones coming out of the main loom inc red white but NO yellow on it.i read this is this poss ?

and the K-bus wire, blue/orange and blue/purple (for remote control buttons interface)

Been 2 hours looking for this wire misses not impressed!

i could be possible i suppose.but somehow i doubt it there must be one to the ipk or the igniton switch i would have thought or go the wiring on top on the fuse board .i no there is one on the plug at the bottom of the a pillar as i tapped into that one by mistake .which caused some strange issues belive me

This is my wiring loom behind stereo the red white u can see does NOT have any yellow on it ?

check the wires on the atc panel underneath and see if there is one there

have another look, the wire you seek is deffinately red/white striped (or white/red) with radial yellow bands at intervals and is part of the loom feed to the radio.

i have theres nothing else theres one red white def is for lighting and the other as in picture has no yellow on it dont want to risk it...

I fitted a 'Hans version' before we came to Portugal to my n/a 1796 ZT-T and wouldn't be without it!!!
