I have looked at ALL of the posts, especially the suggested things that I ought to order in able to get the system to operate, and had a look at the rear of my 213 - it seems to me that the connector systems that have been discussed here are not the looms and connectors that are in my vehicle!
I would appreciate a comment or two, if any, on what connectors that I might have to obtain to satisfactorily install the system when it arrives...

Hi.
I take you are fitting the new Head unit to a ZT-T?
What I can't understand is why are you comparing a 213 to a ZT-T? Whether the two vehicles are the same in wiring and plugs etc I have no idea but you need to compare like for like.

You wont have any problems wiring the ZT up, dependent on the existing head unit it could well be plug and play.
Failing that it'll just need a new ISO adaptor lead.

I was clear in my mind when I wrote the original post BUT it would have been better had I stated Siemens VDO CR213X and not just 213 - SORRY...

Ah Ha.
Easy mistake on my part too.
They are straightforward to fit, the worst part being the 're construction of the bezel.

Hi Steve.
I have replied to your PM but it went without being finished. Your PM box is now full. Can you clear some space please and I'll resend it

Steve. the 12v sense lead on the original ISO lead is pink, If using the Corsa lead directly the same lead as the pink one is not got 12v on it with the engine on, if so just disconnect it.

Hi Trevor
It is wired directly to Corsa wiring connectors so I will check the pink wires voltage when engine is running / ignition in position 2
I think I also need to change the red and yellow as the memory is not holding the time and date

You must have 12v connected to the Pink reverse trigger wire at ignition position 2, do you have a reverse camera connected?

If not, check the Vauxhall ISO loom, what colour wire is inline with the Pink trigger wire at the plug?

Hi Wes
No camera, but the corsa red and yellow wires have to be changed over to maintain memory of stations.
I believe the connection to the Pink terminal is from a speed related sensor as the reversing notification disappears after 30mph
So I will get the correct ISO lead.

Hi everyone,

seriously considering getting one of these. 1 thing that is putting me off his having to wire it in myself. Im fine with a spanner, Socket or hammer but other than that im somewhat of a novice.

does anyone had an idiots guide (and I mean REALLY simple) to connecting the wiring up on these?

also links the best Fascia's etc. that are needed to complete the kit (the ones with the list modifications)

thanks guys
