The man I use in Norwich (Eggett Steam Cleaning) is a "one man band" specialising in vehicle steam cleaning and waxoiling. No fancy frills- car put up on ramp, wheels not removed and no masking of bodywork but a darn good job all the same. MOT inspector very impressed. I have been taking my 1967 Volvo 122S to him for years now and am so pleased with the work that I now take him my two KV6's.. OK, I may have to wipe off a very small amount of overspray but this is very easily done and the price/workmanship more than compensates for this slight inconvenience.

Highly Recommended
Don't wish to hi-jack the thread, but I can certainly vouch for the 'goodness' of a proper WaxOil treatment.
Had my MkIII Cortina GT done in May 1971 (J Reg.) Kept it for 3 years and next saw it in 1978 in a carpark - over 100,000 on the clock and NOT a sign of bodywork rust. Those of you who remember how those 70's Fords deteriated - that was a RESULT. O.K., I didn't get the advantage but I have done a self-application of WaxOil on all of my subsequent cars... |
