It is a bit of a dim glow, but that reminds me must look for a little Rover badge to cover up the BMW one ...

I bought a BMW torch form ebay for only a tenner, then bought a set of rover badged dust caps for £4 and used one of the stickers to cover the BMW logo. Worked very well! I know the torches aren't that good but its nice to have those little accessories I think

This ^^^^

I hate to see blanks in cars be it switches or for accessories like the torch.

Could you name a couple of others because this is neither of those?

My 75 torch has a bmw logo on the inner casing when you remove the rechargable battery.

Calling this fraud or misrepresentation is like saying someone who advertises a diesel 75 as having a bmw engine is misleading people.

This torch is not a "Rover 75" torch. Yes, both are made by BMW, but, the genuine one intended for our cars has the space for the Rover 75 logo, and has a Rover part number stamped on the casing etc.

This one, is a BMW one, intended for BMW cars with space for the BMW logo.

The BMW logo has been removed in this case.

No one is arguing about the brightness of the torch, nor that you cannot use the BMW badged version, more about the fact that this is listed specifically as the Rover 75 equivalent.

Seller is being a little cheeky, "rare" being mentioned, and the OP was trying to make others aware of this. Saw it a little while ago, I realised what was actually on offer, others might not, e-bay doesn't care either way.

Anyway, cheers OP
