Enjoying Devon here for another couple of days then on to Weymouth for a few more days. Weather warm and dry lately after the earlier thunderstorms. Not seen many 75s or zts only 2 and no waves .
Take care on the roads everyone and Bob (flying banana) you are moving to a splendid area, will look out for you on our travels.
Bye for now ,
Dave.

If you like walking go to Seatown. Can walk to Golden cap in one direction and in the other and further West Bay. If you walk towards West Bay and come to a beacon, turn away from the sea and across a field is a place to get something to eat and drink, you should see a sign.

If your driving and want to pull over for a bite to eat, on the A35 a mile or two west of I thought Bridport but it could be Bothenhampton is a nice services, food and toilet only, no fuel. Probably signposted to Eype

We go to a CL in Chideock, from Bridport once you get into Chideock turn left at the speed camera. The view looking at the hills when the sun is golden is fantastic....well I like it. Close to A35 it is quiet at night and we can walk from the site

in that case could I suggest a cl called Brundcliffe Farm outside Matlock, few miles from parsley hay? no toilet block but backs onto the High Peaks Trail I think trail is gravel or tarmac surface.
A few other nice trails close by.
Parsley hay on a sunny day really is a nice place for a coffee and ice cream and look across the fields. A pub 2 miles down the road does nice food

closer to Lincoln then waymouth however
