Morning all, bright but cloudy here.
Yesterday started with huge nosebleed, the first for 22 months and the day ended with a tummy bug. Most of the night was spent in the bathroom. Feeling yuk! This morning.

Bejeesus - she could finish Bob off she could
Morning to all the other goggle-eyed guys looking at Freddie's post. It's a horrible wet, misty, murky and cold morning here - and I'm back on hospital taxi duties again. My sister, who is in the middle of chemotherapy for lung cancer, is now showing all the signs of Deep Vein Thrombosis, probably down to blood clots caused by the actual chemo treatment. This morning we're off to the hospital for two ultrasound scans and a CT scan. The problem is that the latter is in constant use, and we've been warned we may have to wait for some considerable time for an emergency slot.

She'd be more likely to give Bob a nosebleed than cure it!
If they're warning you might have to wait for the CT I'd advise taking some sarnies. |

I have to laugh! I nipped out to Aldi to get a few things one of them being a tin of corned beef, Corned beef hash for tea tonight
I was preparing the ingredients and noticed (I thought) I'd bought a tin with no key our tin opener is pants and couldn't do it so into the garage for the mole grips to get hold of the little metal tab. after much huffing & thrutching I managed to open it. Sat down with a cuppa and saw one the terrible twosome cats running across the room with the key in his mouth He's nicked it off the can when I wasn't looking lol.

I'm wary of corned beef tins. I still have a scar on my thumb from when I lost a fight with one.
Had a response from the 2nd engraver, says its definitely a hand engraving job . . . . pointed me towards another engraver, emailed him. Managed to catch the local engraver open (), doesn't do hand engraving on the premises, takes it to some guy about 40 miles away, only goes there once a week and if the guy's busy could be a couple of weeks! Its a special job so I'd rather see some of the engraver's work before committing so he's dropped well down the list of options. |

What a bleedin' con! I had to convert a word document to a jpeg to attach it to a website message system. Need to convert to a pdf then to a jpeg. Microsoft does a free download of a pdf to jpeg converter, tried to download it, oh, I need to create a Microsoft account. Ok, did that, tried to download it but hadn't registered a device. Went to register a device . . . . you can only register either a Windows 10 PC or a Windows phone or a Microsoft device like a Surface pad thing etc. I hate things like that wasting my time. Converted the pdf to a jpeg online, screw Microsoft
