Morning all, back up to the boat today after work.
Having the Boat Safety Scheme Certificate done this afternoon.
This has to be done every four years for boats on the inland waterways. Strangely it isn't a requirement for vessels at sea

The certificate is for the onboard gas, fuel and electrical systems. It is not a test of a vessels sea worthiness, more to make sure she won't explode or cause death or injury by carbon monoxide poisoning, fire etc.

Lady Emma spent her previous life up at Whitby Bay so this will be her first BSS.
Fingers crossed that she will pass or only require a few modifications.
