After last nights storm we now have sunshine, blue sky and fluffy white clouds.

Good morning all, good morning Bob It’s grey and overcast with no sun in North London. This morning the removals company are visiting to give me a quote. The other quote I had was blown out Today is shredding day I have to find somewhere to store a front bumper. It is colour code to the car and it is still in its bubble wrap, unmarked.

That's one thing about living in the sticks, don't get annoyed by brats no matter what the occasion.

Good morning Richard, we decided to move out of London. We have a place in Bristol. It’s a laborious process clearing out stuff, old clothes. It is satisfying going to recycling and passing things on. Jessica is flying in from Africa in 2 weeks give me a hand. I am planning on flying to Africa early December

Only when you move do you realise how much cr@p you've gathered over the years! I had no idea you could get so much in the loft of a two bed house. I was on first name terms with the guys at the local recycling centre.

Somebody at the BBC has a sense of humour. Referring to the walkout by Google staff today the headline at the start of the 1pm news was "Google searches for its own staff!"

Hi Steve - yes you have been through it yourself. Thank you for sharing 3 years ago I hired a company called “Junk for London” , they came and filled up their van to the top with stuff from the loft. That was £300 and there are still things up there for clearing which I am gradually working through. I am doing it on my own, up and down the ladder and then many trips to the dump. No one has offered to help me, such is life. Over the years I collected various car parts I thought I might need, but never did. Also dumping as I can’t be fussed with eBay and don’t have time for selling.

The other day, I dumped a VHS recorder and an AIWA surround sound system Why I kept them, I don’t know.

One of the members in Barnsley has said he wants my leather jacket and I am happy with that Where we are moving to has a loft and with the best intentions, the only thing going up into the loft will be a ladder

Get well soon
