Very, very quickly the anti-freeze would become diluted with the vast quantity of water etc being processed.
I can remember a neighbour, when I was very young, asking my dad to swap places in the car parking area where we lived. He was wanting to service the car, and my dad's car was parked in front of the drain! He drove it up the kerb, and dropped the oil straight into it! The days of innocence Thinking back, that drain cover had no corrosion on it compared to the others! lol

There's bleach for example!

Also, are we to believe that because OAT is "organic", that it's safe for disposal in the public sewerage system?

Yes, it will easily be degraded into non-toxic materials by the standard chemical and biological treatments used in sewerage plants. These plants are surprisingly sophisticated and can recover safe water from almost any water borne chemicals, both organic and inorganic They also remove biological toxins and pathogens. More important than ethylene glycol and 'OAT', is the removel of heavy metals that most four year old coolants will contain. On the other hand, engine oil must never be dumped into domestic or street drains. The 'bugs' that reatment plants rely on can be killed by insoluble oils. The authorities spend billions just removing cooking oils and engine oils from waste water before it even gets into the plant. That's where your water rates go.

Waste oil should never be dumped in street gullies. Commonly two sewer systems exist - foul and surface water. Many street gullies are connected to the surface water system and these normally outfall to rivers and brooks.

Oil in rivers and brooks is so common, especially in parts of London. Once oil gets in a watercourse, it will kill any life in there stone dead. Luckily there are big fines for idiots who drop substances other than rainwater into gullies.

As fuel obviously, not as engine oil? We're talking about used engine oil and antifreeze-coolant disposal.

Off topic - I used new cooking oil in my Reliant Scimitar GTdiesel*. Ran like a dream, but it ran like a pig on the recovered / treated "bio-fuel" sold by a local commercial manufacturer. I did wonder if BMW diesels like cooking oil. (is there a fuel heater built into the filter system? I don't mean the FBH....)
