Just a thought, would a faulty cam sensor cause the pump not to come on ?.

[QUOTE=finbarr saunders;2872087]After thinking that this had been sorted it has come back again, car was fine when i parked it up 2 days ago then went to go out this morning & yet again no power to the pump, , Have pulled out ECM & checked it & all is bone dry, swapped over the relay in the fuse box & still getting nothing, I cant see it being the ignition switch as the stereo comes on when turned to switched live,(I assume they use the same switch contact) Anybody got any other suggestions as this is driving me mad now?[/QUOTE
Does the oil light come on as it should with key to position II? If not you have a faulty ECM. Big Russ or Marinabrian can sort this for you by post. |

To be honest i hadn't noticed either way on the oil light, but as per usual while i was taking a tea break the damn pump started working again while I was 10 feet away from it, When it does it again I will look for the oil light thing, , , , , Me & this car are gonna have a row very soon. |
