Would that be the reason for the red flush down one side of my face and my sudden urge to start sculpting mashed potato then?

When I was young we lived in Berwick. There was a huge NATO exercise which included B52s "bombing" the town. Idiot local councillor going out about the people of Berwick being terrified!

And he's just been joined by a long tail - small bird rhymes with mitt - oddly on its own. There's usually half a dozen +.

Quizzie's out with Bertie in an hour or so so it's all going on here.

Have a good one.

Despite being just a couple of hundred yards from the sea (Forth estuary) rarely get seagulls here, no source of food for them.

Our regular visitors are Goldfinches, Bullfinches, Greenfinches, various T1ts (Great, Blue, Coal, Long Tail), Nuthatch, Robins and the Woodpecker! Hoovering up seeds on the ground we get Wrens, Sparrows, Blackbirds, Thrushes, occasional Pigeon and Dove. Its relaxing watching them.

Talk of the devil, the Woodpecker is on the feeder!

Morning all - have I moved into a different universe overnight?
Blue skies, sunshine, reasonably warm temperature - surely I can't be at home?
Taxi day again today for me - missus to hospital for regular weekly physio appointment this morning, and then daughter and offspring to clinic for 4.45pm.
Hopefully, no battery problems today

Just got back from hospital - if you stand in direct sunlight, there is considerable warmth in the sun. My backache problem seems to like solar rays

We could do with more sunshine in this neck o the woods, save for a few hours here & there it's just been grey skies of 8/9C temps. My tomato & bell pepper seeds aren't germinating in this dismal weather I've just been sowing a second batch of tomato varieties just in case the first lot I sowed over a month ago doesn't show
