I've been ripping the rotten decking boards outside the conservatory & there's more rot than I thought Going to need a 6"x2" timber joist as it's rotted through. One of the Newal posts is rotted out at the bottom too & I cant find that type of post anywhere on the net It's the same with decking boards I cant find the exact profile or thickness of the old boards they've been discontinued. So I've bought the closest to the old style as possible.

I've put the crowbar down & taken me painkillers with a bottle of Henry's otherwise I'll be too cream crackered to do owt later
Korma & rice Ping meals for tea as I've not had time to cook owt & missus has been out all day doing THE BIG SHOP

Lovely weather, 16 degrees and some sunshine but a bit windy.

One tired Quizzie has already curled up .

We'll be back up again on babysitting duty in 3 weeks.

Oh, and following marinabrians magic hands the Tourer did just under 54mpg on the run up at a steady 70mph (ish) and cruised beautifully.

Take care all.
Will try and catch up with you next time again Andy

Cool

Had a very good but tiring day. Popped into town this morning and visite the Post Office and the chemist. Then took Banana for a drive to top up the battery.

Home and after coffee I had a chat with my neighbours and ended up lending them some garden tools and canvas bags. They are tidings up there garden.

My big job was to start on the Bear. Washed, clayed, waxed and polished. Cleaned the windows. Very tiring but happy with the work. Going to finish off tomorrow as the wheels need a good scrub, all the black plastic/rubber needs a clean. Then to finish off the rear boxes need a good clean.

Then off to the go go juice station for some juice.

Then it’s Banana’s turn.
