Used to be some brilliant April Fool jokes on the railway in the BR days. Things like instructions issued by control for a circus train, route had to avoid low bridges because of the giraffes, how to go about feeding the animals in BR goods yards etc. Another was an experimental type of goods wagon with a single axle in the middle, had to run with an "adapter" wagon either end, if the adapter wagon wasn't there don't climb on the wagon or you'd set up a seesaw motion throughout the train

Well that’s me finished work until the 12th April, rs been bright and sunny for the last hour or so and has warmed up slightly. Unfortunately due to my cataracts and another eye condition I can’t tolerate the bright sun that is shining straight through our living room window. Even with the blind shut it’s still penetrating through and is really bothering me, so have had to shut the curtains too
I enjoy the sun normally and can’t get enough of it. In the past if I came home and the blind was shut, I would open it enough to let the sun in without it dazzling everyone now the blind and curtains get shut as soon as I come in,the sun is really low just now.

I'd love to. My wife did offer to cut it but I'm not that brave, I've seen what she does to the girls with the clippers.

We are Beach Fishing Monday,its forecast the same down here,I think I shall stay in the shelter cooking the sausages.

Bright and sunny here, like a glorious summer's day . . . . apart from the fact its baltic! All of 6°C. Getting my head nipped about finishing off repainting the walls in the garden, no point when its this cold but try explaining that me other half.
