Manage attachments problem on the site ?

I am trying to add a photo to a new post . I have always used the Manage attachments paperclip icon on the toolbar but today it is not working for me ; when I click on the "choose file " button the window closes and returns me to my post .
Is there a problem on the site tech ?

Problem appears to have been at my end ; a reboot appears to have fixed it !
