What film did your Dad take you to the Cinema so see first?
Odd one I know, but I'm watching Tommy (1975) at the moment... this was the second film my Dad took me to the film theater to view.....
The First was The Godfather... in 1974... At the age of 14/15 what was he trying to tell me ? Suffice to say I never went to the cinema with him again

Not my Dad but my now late older Brother Peter.
I lived in Helperby and he took me to York to see White Feather (I think that`s it title) and ever since that I always had a soft spot for Native Americans, I never wanted to be the "Cowboy" I cannot say how old I was but was young and will never forget what my Brother said on the bus journey, he said "tell me if you see any pretty Girls" He was ten years older than me so I recon I was around 7 or 8 Memories eh! We went to see a movie about a family that circumnavigated the whole of Australia. Was shown in the early/mid seventies, and I think it was called Northern Safari, or Australian Safari.
I think they also did the whole trip in an old Landrover. Was a popular movie here in New Zealand with families at the time. I can still remember part of a song that was in it...."where going north, on a northern safari....." Oh my! Iwas around 12/13/14 at the time..... Graeme

My Nan took me to see the first Star Wars movie in Tottenham when I was seven.
That's the first film I actually remember going to see at the cinema

The Early Bird and Trouble in Store, both Norman Wisdom classics
I loved Norman singing "Don't laugh at me cause I'm a fool"
