Default Project Mrs Singh

Three years ago, I purchased this 75 in rare Monogram Typhoon. One of only nine salooons made in the 75 variant. This is number seven of nine off the production line at Longbridge. She actually just turned seventeen just a few days ago.
It’s a Rover 75 Connoisseur diesel automatic. I purchased this from East Anglia. Full service history and 110,000 on the clock. Parked it up and never drove it since. Too many cars at the time and life getting in the way. Still have too many cars! After three years in a garage, it was time to get it back on the road. It needs a few things - Rear end was completely seized so new brakes and shoes, springs etc ordered. Front spring snapped so that’s being replaced. New back box required as this one is rotten along with a few other things. Then hoping to put the car in for an MOT within the next 2-3 weeks.
Front bumper needs replacing and resprayed due to damage by previous owner and then hopefully it’s a good car and I will add my touches as I go along but it’s a keeper. Just look at the colour! 😍

Meet Mrs Singh. 🤓

Now that’s a good idea with the tourer roof rails.

Old, rusty back box removed. New one fitted. Just needs tightened properly. Just look at that old one. 🤢
Have also ordered some spring protectors, new brake pedal as mine is split and a few other small bits.

I recognise that driveway, I hope there wasn't any Tomcats harmed in the process of dragging the funny coloured 75 up there

Have fun recommissioning it.
