Default How easy is it t change the wood in the r75?

Im looking to change my plastic wood to the real wood from my donor car and never done this before, is this easy to do, i dont want set the air bag off kind of thing? any one here done this before?

There's a how to in the interior section. Battery off before starting though, and you'll need a special torx key for the air bag bit

I've done two cars with the aid of the "how to" - biggest problem I had was getting the large middle section in place, would probably have been easier to remove the centre console first or move it back a bit.

it has been said when fitting the large centre section, to slip a credit card between the large centre section and centre console to prevent damage where the bottom comers dig into the console

iv'e done 2 it's quite easy T30 for airbag, disconnecting and connecting the thumbwheel below the clock can be fidelly but not too difficult, two plastic cards help when installing the main part placed between each open end that you press over the rounded leather part above the eyebrow at the top of the consol stops it from digging into the leather and makes it slide in easily good luck
