Default I.C.E. Guru Please.

Hi, the new DAB unit is a Sony MEX-N7300BD, the harness is a Connects 2 suitable for the 75. Harness came with a 'universal' patch lead but the steering wheel controls won't work. Patch lead has a Key1 spur and a Key2 spur. Question is...What wire(s)connect to these spurs? All replies gratefully received, and failing that, a specialised audio fitter will have to be called in.
I'm really enjoying the radio but to get SWC's would be icing on the cake.
Thanks
Heddy.

dont know if your still sorting this or not.i do remember that on my patch lead you just connect key one only as key two earths itself through the unit and is not needed. pick out the key one wire to the swc buttons from the harness behind as it should be in there. look on the previous posts for the sean dd units what colour and where to find them.just a thought that may help.

Hiya, thanks for getting back. I bought a Connects 2 harness with a universal patch lead. Had problems, it didn't work, even though the listing was for Rover 75 2000-2004. After many exchanges with Dynamic Sounds, guy said I'd bought the wrong lead saying as my car was 54 reg the item wouldn't work. He recommended one and it works great, it uses the three square connectors, blue green and yellow I think. The 3 square block only has 2 wires in it and it's these 2 that the harness uses.
This is a long reply to maybe help others setting up SWC's, ask the seller to recommend, or ask beforehand if it will work.
