Default Rover 75 T

Hi Guys...My electric fan does not come on is there a switch that can be replaced because I think it must be faulty...what would the part be called..

I believe there is also some sort of sensor right hand top side of engine...what is this called if I need to order one

Its a 2003 so may or may not be a resistor, my 2003 ZT 1.8T was the older three speed fan. Look through the radiator grille, if it is a resistor type you will see an oblong silver (possibly gold) "bar" at roughly the 2 o'clock position. You can just see it in this photo.



Once we know which type of fan it is we'll be able to give better advice.

Hello Bill. I believe you're referring to the coolant temperature sensor, seen in this photo.




It's almost certainly not what's causing your problem. The radiator cooling fan itself is the most likely culprit and the advice being given will soon get you sorted.
