Default where to put axle stands on the rear

Hi all I need to renew my rear shocks and also one upper suspension arm and would like some advice on where to put the axle stands, the car is now off the road so I am planning on soaking the bolts over a few days and just keeping it jacked up on the stands. So where would you recommend placing the axle stands to get it up in the air for a while ?
Thanks
