Honestly, £200-odd quid from me alone this month! Wish I'd come up with that idea..
I always feel like that with eBay fees, but on reflection, but putting Ads in Papers is no cheaper for items over £100 quid! And newspaper or Magazine ads only have a fraction of the coverage in comparison.
eBay know this & price accordingly.

Have you tried selling things & managing stuff your own website!! That is costly & time consuming too? I've tried it & have to say it's "bite the bullet" for me as eBay just make it easy.
Some of your selling fees actually go to Google!
If you Google the item you are selling a few hours after listing you will find it usually on the front page

BTW Paypal Do Not charge for withdrawing your money out anymore.
They used to charge for anything under £50 but that has been abolished now.

Admittedly eBay are too big for there boots now but it's a case of "if you can't beat them ...join 'em" & who else can sell your stuff cheaper & better?

Sorry, Carl, I was thinking along the same lines.

Where were all these when I was looking for one! Cheapest one I found was with Les @ £40! I even posted up a thread asking where I could get a replacement cheap, but I was just pointed in the direction of SMC..

Fair enough though, if it's too expensive, I shall keep it as a spare.. £170 for a wood wheel makes me wince, but £19 for a leather one is over the odds.. Who'd have thought? I'm not reducing the price on it, as it wouldn't be worth my time to send the thing out..

Thanks for your imput chaps, saves me flogging a dead horse
